BitterSweet is a women-owned business serving baked goods, small plates, and custom drinks in an intimate and welcoming setting. Park Ridge natives Jamie Kendall and Meghan O'Neill plan to convert the former Chic Couture space at 139 N. Northwest Highway into a fun (and delicious) community gathering place. While the concept may be new to the area, we believe it would greatly add to the Uptown Business District landscape. We also believe a show of support would help us receive a license which falls in line with Park Ridge community values. If you agree, please sign and share with others.
UPDATE: We encourage Park Ridge residents to contact their aldermen via email should you wish to show support but cannot attend our upcoming meetings at City Hall.
UPCOMING MEETINGS:
- Liquor Board meeting on Monday, May 6th at 6:30 PM
- (TENTATIVE) City Council meeting on Monday, May 20th at 7:00 PM
This is a business that makes me want to travel home to Park Ridge--specifically to relax, connect with friends and enjoy Bittersweet, but also to make a day of it and shop, eat, and enjoy other local businesses as well. This concept is unique, fun, and incredibly appealing. I can't wait for it to open, and for a chance to visit!
