I would like to resolve the issues of kids being picked on and/or harassed every day simply because they want to express themselves. This petition isn't completely against the dress code, but what I would like to do is bring back individuality. Logos, piercings, hair color variation, and how many buttons are on your polo do NOT hinder your education what so ever, so please sign this in order to help try and make a change. SCHOOL SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO TAKE AWAY WHO WE ARE!

Seriously though who does my hair affect but me? Who's distracted by a tiny chunk of gold in my nose or purple tips on my hair? And for the love of God why can't I wear a hoodie?

Funny how we have a dress code to teach us how it is in the "real world" when our teachers don't even have a dresscode... Should be more focused on teaching us how to pay bills, handle money, etc.

It's rediculous that I had to take piercings that I've had for 3 years, in which have NEVER distracted me, nor anyone else, just because the school says it's not right.

This is going way to far. Hair color should not matter. Back it the early 70's I went to Lourdes and was allowed to have frosted hair. This is public school and the restrictions are unrealistic.

It's not fair for these kids not to express who they are, you arent a high class private school it's a PUBLIC school. Start caring more about the education and less on what they wear to school. Boys should be able to control there self when a girl is wearing a v-neck shirt. Stop pointing fingers at the girls more on boy's that cant control themselves. This is nonsense.

I agree, this school is ridiculous with most their rules, so glad my kid is done and will not send my last one there!
