I have created this petition to have parents support the stop of violence in Greece Central Schools. There has been ongoing violence in our schools from fights to pepper spraying students. Parents voices are not being heard by the school administrators and the Board of Education that this behavior needs to stop. I wanted to create this petition to show there are many voices that are not being heard and we want change.The locking of bathrooms also needs to stop as it is highly illegal. Parents are coming to pick up their students at school and bringing them home to use the bathroom. Students are having health issues and there is no concern from the school. If you agree that change is needed, please sign below.

The level of participation in this petition demonstrates that our community is deeply concerned about student safety and school policy. This momentum confirms that our collective perspective cannot be ignored by the administration any longer.

Sick of hearing about pepper spray in the halls. Lock out the kids causing trouble instead of the bathrooms.
Kids should always feel safe at school! The kids that are a disruption to teachers and students, need to be removed from schools! And, the trouble makers need to be suspended, and removed from schools too. There is no reason for any of it! Fights need to stop! They need to learn from their mistakes. The only way to do this, is to have consequences, and get the parents involved. If not, they will never learn. They will just continue to cause all kinds of problems, and disruptions to everyone else. It’s not fair to the students that want to learn!!!
The fighting is out of control. Holding places everyday. Distraction of learning . More consequences need to be put in place.
The disruption of learning and behaviors of the students need to change. The children that want to learn can’t, and the Teachers can’t teach!
Enough is enough with the everyday fights and locking bathrooms. The students do not feel safe.
My son runs home everyday because he is not able to use the bathroom at school

My daughter is terrified to go to school because of the constant fighting. It is absolutely unacceptable that she has to hold it all day because the bathrooms are locked. Fix this now!
