As of recently, the families of Frederic Schools have had it brought to their attention that the bathroom doors have been removed from both the elementary and 6-12 buildings. As parents we expect our children to feel safe and have privacy when they need it at school. The way this action was taken was not within Frederic School Policy Guidelines. Our school superintendent Kyle Luedtke decided this himself without bringing the change to the board. On top of that, there was no word to parents- that this was going to happen. His reasoning was that they were having issues with vaping and fighting in the bathrooms at the high school, yet parents never heard that they were having such bad issues prior to his decision. It has not been explained to us how this will fix the issue. By taking the doors off, this has infringed upon our children's privacy and safety.What will he do next when the issues don't resolve? Take the stall doors off also? Invade our children's privacy and safty even more. As a concerned, I ask you to stand up with me to please have our bathroom doors reinstalled

I have been hearing from so many of you who are just as unsettled by these changes as I am. Please know that I am currently working to organize our thoughts so we can present them clearly to the school board. This has grown so much larger than I ever imagined and I am truly humbled by the way you have all stepped up to protect our children.

I have no children in the schools, but I am a tax payer and care how the district is run. The doors should be put back on. If someone from the outside public wanted to use the bathroom there would be no orivacy for then either. Make our children and adults working there feel safe!

This is trash Mrs Kline is trash the school board is trash and it’s really sad.
What they are doing is so disgusting!! I hope everyone see this and sign because it’s totally unacceptable.
Our childrrn need their privacy, this no doors is so wrong. The teachers, principal, all that work there should use the bathrooms & see how you like NO PRIVACY.
There is absolutely no reason to remove bathroom doors off of K-5 school. That is absolutely ridiculous.

As a father of both a young boy and girl it's very concerning that my children can't comfortably use the bathroom at school!!!!! I've talked with parents from other districts... no other school has done this!!!
