I will always take my daughter to the pools in the morning before lunch to enjoy it before the hottest part of the day. Opening at 12.45 is ridiculous, rarely have I seen attendants at the pool . Parents take responsibility for their children. PLEASE RETHINK THIS!!!
Im not sure why they aren't open 12 hours a day at this time of year as the teenagers jump the fences anyhow or would the council prefer them to use goatee, eling creek, salmon leap or even jumping off the causeway. I for one would also like to take my son there on a nice evening after work or weekend morning
10am would be good and to open till at least 6;30 we dont always get promised hot weather and its take a chance and make the most of it and some of the mornings recently have been quite nice 12:45 is way too late especially on the weekends because when it is nice weather its like sardines in there the amount of people that wait,at least with longer opening people can spread their visits throughout the day
You vote in the elections, thats how you get them fired! Its not the people who maintain the pools or the workers in the Civic offices that are responsible.. They are the messengers of what is decided by the councillors that have the majority vote on decisions made in Totton.
Maybe is they are given a big enough back hander like MacDonald they may let it open earlier.

The sun is uv safer in the AM.Encouraging parents to take children paddling in the PM is irresponsible.Also many parents of toddlers have another child to pick up from school in the PM so will have time issues.Cannot comprehend which killjoys came up with this idea. ps....So cross about this and being a pensioner I don't even have paddling pool age children!!!
