Seeing this much support for the parade is exhausting but it reminds me why I started this in the first place. We have enough momentum now that they cannot simply ignore us anymore.

The emails I send keep going unanswered and the silence is beginning to feel heavy. This work takes more out of me than I expected but I am not walking away from this yet.

The fatigue is setting in but watching the count grow keeps me moving forward. We are almost at two hundred and fifty signatures and I need you to pass this on to someone new so we can finally force a conversation.

I’m a senior in high school. My senior class has won 1st place for two years now. We planed on making it three. This isn’t fair to us we have waited for way to long for us not to get to do it. Please reconsider.

This has been a tradition since I was in school and always enjoyed it. It would be so nice for teachers to be as involved with it as the Xmas parade and help decorate the floats. The kids enjoy this and it's away to showcase every one in school.

I believe we should have the parade because its fun and it let elder people enjoy there living while they can.. and a senior float is a big deal it's the last school float you'll be on

I truly believe with all my heart this tradition needs to be kept in this little town, the 3 big things a year that we have always looked forward to is the fair, parade, and fireworks/street dance. Why take out things that this little town is know for?

This is my family’s first year back in booneville after living in manchester for over ten years. My kids were looking forward to the fair parade, so I hope this tradition can continue because it was fun for the kids.
