We the congregation of St. Apollinaris are a deep rooted community and will stand together when our leader is not acting to benefit our church as well as our spiritual needs!

Updates

May 12, 2015

I have sent a formal request for a meeting with the diocesan representative to address the concerns listed in this petition. We are currently preparing a document detailing specific instances where leadership has failed to meet our community needs to present during that discussion.

Four generations of the Savage/Mohr family have been faithful members of this parish. Through their legacy and dedication, St Apollinaris has weathered storms and grown. It is my sincere hope that the transparency established by the Savages will be restored.

Mr. Collins, I think I can say that what Fr. Bill, as you refer to him, has done "behind the scenes" is the issue. Please be more transparent and share this information. It will help everyone take a breath. I think the parish deserves nothing less.

I feel very distrustful of the current leadership at St. Apollinaris & refuse to stand by & watch the decades of service my family has contributed be thrown away! Please take this petition seriously & ask why this is happening!!!!

We are the Body of Christ what is done to one member of the body is done to the whole body. 1Cor. 12:12-26. Our Parish is suffering for what has happened to Jo Savage! She was like the heart of our Parish! I pray that the One Spirit will give wisdom to our Bishop and heal our wounds!

youthgroup at Saint Apollinaris changed my outlook in my adolescence and pushed me to pursued my faith and now I am a much better man because of it. Thank you to Megan and Jacob for all the time and effort they put in with me. it would be a shame to see our youth ministry diminish.

My family and I were appalled to hear about Jo Savage's dissmisal from St. A's. She is such an integral part of making our parish wonderful, and she does not deserve to be treated this way. I support the Savage family during this time, and pray for better leadership to prevail.

I totally support this petition. Jo Savage and her family have dedicated their time, energy and money supporting St. A's for decades. It is absolutely the parish community's loss.

Jo Savage along with her extended family deserve nothing less than our gratitude. I have sent a letter to Bishop Vasa expressing my concerns.
