The students of Saint Francis University want to keep their faith and spiritual life alive at school, but are left feeling threatened by the school taking over the Agape Chapel. This is a place where people feel safe, where retreats are held by Campus Ministry to benefit the spiritual well-being in students, where students can let their emotions free in private with the Lord, engage in bible studies, sing their hearts out to the Lord, practice for Praise and Worship, pray together, and build each other up in faith. Therefore, we, representing the student body of Saint Francis University, request that the Agape Chapel remain as it is currently.
The point of this chapel, since I became a student, was to allow non-denominational students have a place of sanctity and peace for their beliefs without having to travel. For the benefit of the school, allowing students to express their freedom of religion would be well respected and advantageous of campus ministry and the school
