We the Parishioners of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Española, herby request that the Most Reverend Archbishop Michael J. Sheehan reconsider his decision to transfer Father Jonas Romea from Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Española to our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Pena Blanca. Father Jonas has become an integral part of our Parish family and we would like for him to stay as our associate pastor. Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish is a big Parish community and needs two priests.

The Sacred Heart Parish is big and 2 pastors is ideal. Not to mention the affect Fr. Jonas would give to those who are spiritually in need. The new parish that was assigned to him is a small parish and why do they need 2 pastors there? I hope Fr. Jonas will stay in Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish.
We love Father Jonas and it has been extremely difficult to have so many different priests in such a short amount of time.
I have a great appreciation for Fr. Jonas and truly enjoy his mass and sermons. I can feel the love and admiration he has for our Lord and being a Priest. I feel terrible that he should have to give up such a beautiful passion he has for his calling, the church community and to share his gift with others to serve the Lord.
Please let Fr Jonas stay in Sacred Heart Parish

Please keep him in our Parish as he has been greatly inspirational to us to follow God's word and all his goodness and love in our community. Father Jonas has made such an impact with no only the adults but the teenagers and children in our community by the way he expresses and explains his sermons and masses. We feel his love and admire his true love and passion of truth in his calling to share his gift of God's light to all of us.
