We the undersigned owners and residents of Kelso Subdivision hereby offer our support for our neighborhood's participation in the Neighborhood Traffic Project Program. We understand that by signing this petition, we are supporting participation in a planning process that requires a public meeting in order to proceed, and not committing to a specific traffic mitigation device(s) or plan. After Orange County receives the petition a speed study will be done.

The process is moving slower than I expected and the silence from the county office is frustrating. I am spending my evenings tracking down neighbors to ensure we have the documentation they require for this study. We keep pushing because the traffic on these streets remains a daily danger.

The momentum behind this project is finally reaching a point where officials cannot ignore our frustration. It has been a long road getting here and my energy is drained but seeing this level of participation keeps me moving forward.

I have already had a concrete pillar holding up a mailbox completely destroyed by a vehicle whose young driver had lost control. My daughter used to sell cookies and lemonade at that exact spot! I also see so much wildlife killed on the S-bend around the orange grove! It is tragic.
we have 4 toddlers, and we have definitely had some close calls in front of our driveway, as well as while walking and riding bikes through the neighborhood. Please slow down
I support traffic study to be conducted in Kelso Subdivision.

We seem to be experiencing a rise in traffic volume and in careless/wreckless driving at the same time that we're attracting a lot more families with young children to the neighborhood. These are worrisome trends. Careful study is needed.
