North Shore residents were given a big wednesday announcement they were not expecting, that Kahuku and Pupukea are at the top of the list for potential land fills. The pupukea landfill would sit above Waimea Bay, a marine life conservation district. North Shore overwhelmingly opposes any landfill in North Shore for a variety of reason. Two reasons specifically would be to the deteration of our North Shore infatsructure and traffic. Please sign our petition opposing any potential landfill in North Shore.
Keep the trash away from Waimea! The roads up there are already a total nightmare and this will just ruin everything for the locals. Not in our backyard.
