We, the undersigned, do hereby protest the proposed development known as Elkhorn Lodge Phase II, including but not limited to the annexation, non-residential zoning and PUD classification of parcels 3526100001 and 3526105046.
My family has lived next to these parcels for generations and watching them vanish under this development plan is heartbreaking. We need to hit that next goal before the meeting so the council understands how many neighbors reject this annexation. Please send this link to your friends in town today.

Seeing one hundred people stand up to protect our neighborhood feels incredible. I have spent every morning worrying that this lodge expansion would ruin the quiet life we have built here but knowing I am not fighting alone gives me so much hope.

I am opposed to the proposed development Phase II Elkhorn Lodge. I’m especially opposed to any access of this development to Elm Road. Moraine Ave has enough traffic without allowing this massive build to use it. They have west Elkhorn to 34. It is time for the town to start listening to their residents and not outside money.

There is no short-term or long-term gain for residents, or the wildlife who call Estes Park home. This concept is for profit solely, and does not align with the Town of Estes Park's Mission, which includes, "acting as good stewards of public resources and the natural environment".

Don’t want this proposed business property, period! The life-safety of the homeowners and businesses are being put at a higher risk (next wildfire, potential hotel fire, other disaster) with the large influx of hotel guests and employees on Elm Road.

It is hard to see what, if any, benefit this project would have for a town that already has plenty of lodging for visitors, but lacks affordable employee housing. We don't need more large hotels, we need to preserve space for wildlife and to house our existing Town workers.

Changing the historic zoning of this property unfairly dilutes and devalues the property value of adjacent landowners and residents of the neighborhood. I oppose the annexation, rezoning and development of parcels 3526100001 and 3526105046 as proposed Elkhorn Lodge Phase II.

250 rooms = 625 people according to developer. Add this to Fall River Village and Fish Hatchery: too many people to add to the western edge of a WUI as geographically constrained as ours

You're destroying small logging business how many more people need to lose their lives they built before the town starts to care.
