The town of Breckenridge has been researching the option of building a parking structure where the F lot currently exists (next to Park Avenue Loft building) for years and it now feels like it is just a matter of time before it gets traction and passes based on current TV news coverage. Any large building beyond the surface/ground level will not be good for any real estate owner in the vicinity not to mention the addition tax burden on the town/residents of Breckenridge. As you can see in the Feasibility Study (link below), all options which include the estimated paid parking revenue are in a significant negative position.

It has been reported on Denver 9 News (reference link below) that the Breckenridge Town Council will make a final decision in the Fall 2014 which is only months from now.I am asking for your support to oppose any above ground parking structure where the current F Lot exists. This is a grassroots type of action, so your support and any advise on defeating the potential new above ground parking structure is welcome. Also, please feel free to pass along this iPetition Link to anyone of your contacts in Breckenridge to gain additional support.
