Each year thousands of children are injured as pedestrians and dozens more are killed while getting on or off their school bus.
Operation STOP Arm is asking for your signatures in support of a safer bus stop for the children of Georgia. Other states are already taking action to reduce the number of stop arm violations in their states, and it is time Georgia follows suit. ______________________________
We are petitioning the Georgia Legislature to create and pass a law which would require cameras on all school buses in this state to capture Stop Arm violations, amend current laws to make Stop Arm penalties enforceable, and implement a state-wide Operation Stop Arm marketing campaign to educate and awaken motorists to the dangers of illegally passing school buses. ______________________________

I am honestly overwhelmed by how many of you have joined this effort to keep our children safe. Getting to one hundred signatures would show that people are truly listening so please help me push this over the line by sending the link to just a few more people.

This makes me so mad. Just wait the extra minute. The kids safety comes first always.
I saw someone fly past a bus yesterday while the arm was out. My heart stopped. People have no respect for kids safety anymore.
Every day I see people speeding past buses on my road. It is only a matter of time before a kid gets hit. Stop being so impatient and watch for the lights!
TOTAL LACK OF PATIENCE. getting to work 30 seconds faster is NOT worth a life.
The fines for passing a stopped bus should be huge. Maybe then people will actually pay attention.

Cameras on all buses now. Catch them and ticket them.
