We, the parents stationed here on Wiesbaden Army Base, petition the Garrison and school district to put
bus monitors/cameras on school buses to protect the safety of our children, grandchildren.
There is no bus monitors on any of the school buses and since the beginning of school year 2016-2017 there has been increased number of violence that has occurred on the buses. Brutal attacks, assaults and continued bullying. This is due to lack of supervision on the buses, children are physically, emotional getting hurt.
We demand that the Wiesbaden Garrison and DODEA School district hire bus monitors to protect the safety and wellbeing of each children in our community.

The stories coming in from parents about what happens on these buses are heartbreaking and confirm that we cannot wait any longer for action. I am currently working to get a sit-down meeting with DODEA leadership to demand bus monitors immediately. Please call the Garrison office today and tell them that student safety must be their priority.

We hit a significant mark in our campaign this morning which proves the leadership cannot continue to ignore this safety crisis. Email the garrison commander now and demand he meets with us to address these assaults on the bus. Post this link on your Facebook base groups to get the attention of the school board administrators.

This happened to my child too and the transportation office nor the school did anything to ensure this wouldn't happen again
Something NEEDS to be done. Our military kids have so many things to worry about, going to school should not be one of them. Do your jobs, protect the vulnerable and punish the guilty. The schools needs to open their eyes, bullying is right in front of you and you refuse to see it.
I do not have children on the bus but have heard many complaints from parents of physical abuse/ assault on Wiesbden Army School buses.
Please support the children of this Wiesbaden military community and provide the necessary adult supervision on the buses that move them to and from school to home.
I've heard too many stories about bullying on the bus here! My little one starts kindergarten in the fall and even before this I knew there was no way I would ever put him on the bus! This is a real problem in our community!
Keep our children safe! Bullying is unacceptable anywhere, anytime.
We owe our children a safe environment 24/7. It is our responsibility as parents, teachers and administrators.

My child has been bullied each year and although my concerns were addressed, these children were allowed to ride the school bus without any disruption while my child was afraid and shoned for reporting the incident.
