This is a petition to have the Medicina Forensis 2016 exam made an online exam rather than a sit-down exam.
While the method for this format will clearly be at the discretion of the course administrators, such an online exam might entail having the exam paper uploaded for a certain number of hours on Vula for us to complete answers and then upload them.
The reasons for an online format being favoured over a sit-down format are as follows:
1. It will guarantee us the possibility of completing the course, by writing the exam in a peaceful environment, without a threat of disruption.
2. It will allow for some much-needed certainty regarding the exam. All that would be required is for a date and time duration to be set.
3. We are not medical students and are taking this course as an elective to learn a bit more about a different area of the law. Many of the final year electives in the law faculty have been made either take-home or online and as such, we believe that we should be afforded this opportunity too.

The faculty remains quiet on our request but we know other departments have already moved their electives online. Post this link on your Facebook page and email your department head to demand the same flexibility for us.

This is way better given how unstable things are right now. Just want to finish my degree in peace.
Just let us write from home, it is way fairer since other electives are already doing this.
Online exam is a best and a safe option given the state of affairs
