I am a current Manhattan Beach resident who has lived and voted here for the past 14 years. The 900 Club has been a place where I could take clients, family, and friends in a setting that feels like home. Please extend this home the courtesy it deserves.
900 caters almost exclusively to residents of Manhattan Beach, unlike other bars in town. How is it that a place made for the voting residents of Manhattan Beach is treated as less than bars that bring in younger, rowdier guests from out of town?
900 Club should not be competitively or commercially discriminated against relative to other establishments, especially when the "ask" in this instance is a relatively modest 52 hours per year to bring the hours of operation in-line with other city operators.
I live at 804 Manhattan, a half block from the Club. As a close by neighbor, I can attest to the fact that the Club has never been a nuisance in terms of noise or otherwise. I FULLY SUPPORT this petition to move the closing hour to 1:00 am on Thursdays!!
We are in support of extending the 1 hour on Thursday nights. 900 club is a longstanding business that should have the same or similar rules of operation as other downtown businesses. We are long time MB residents. Our children are 4th generation

My family and I have lived in MB 20yrs now, seems odd Club 900 is forced to operate under different terms w same zoning as Shell Back, Strand House club, and Sharks Cove ??? All known for traditional food and bar activities . -Dale
