I first moved to Manhattan Beach in 1991 and have been a member since the 900 Club first opened. I strongly support the additional hour of operations requested by Club ownership. Please treat 900 fairly!

We live directly across the street from 900/Downstairs Bar. In our 14 years at this residence, we have only seen an improvement over time. We have 3 children and no zero issues with 900/Downstairs Bar. When Dave took over the Downstairs Bar, he cleaned up and improved the establishment. Dave has always made it very clear that he is available by phone or in person if there are any issues. Dave should be commended for the improvements that he has made instead of being Bullied. I don't see any other restaurant or bar going through the scrutiny that Dave is getting. This is unfair and the City needs to make it fair, if other bars have a later closing time, then why not 900/Downstairs Bar?

I have been resident of Manhattan Beach for 18 years. I am a strong proponent of local business and find the 900 Club truly representative of the best our City has to offer. I am have never missed a chance to vote for local officials who support local business...nor against those that don't. I fully support extending their hours.

We go have a nice glass of wine after or before our haircuts across the street. They are a landmark and should be treated equally. Good luck !!

Having been a South Bay resident and local Emergency Room doctor for over 10 years I can honestly say that the 900 club has an extremely positive influence on the community at large. I strongly urge the City Council to approve the fair and equal opportunity for the 900 Club to remain open for an extra hour to balance the access to the restaurant for similar hours to local businesses.

900 Club has been in business for over 20 years. I have been a member for over 10 years and it is a fabric of this community.

I have been a resident of the South Bay community for over 30 years and a member of The 900 Club for 18 of those years. Apart from the selfish motive of being one of the members whose primary opportunity to enjoy the club is on Thursday nights, and in consideration of the Club's consistent ongoing charitable activities which aid our community as well as making the Club a proud and distinguished member reflecting the best values of that same community, I would strongly urge the City Council to grant 900 the extra hour to remain open to serve its members with the same degree of fairness and opportunity enjoyed other restaurants and bars in the area.

Bought a home in Manhattan Beach in 2005 and was lucky to find 900 shortly after moving here. As a home owner, I would greatly appreciate if City Council of my town would give 900 the same economic opportunities as other bars and restaurants in the downtown district. Honoring this minor but important movement towards equality with the other establishments would be a much appreciated step in the right direction. Thank you for considering this!

I have lived in Manhattan Beach for 25 years and the 900 has been great to our community. Please extend them the same hours as the other establishments in the area.

I'm a Manhattan Beach resident for over 20 years. I've been going to 900 club and the downstairs bar that entire time. It's a fantastic place get involved in the community, hold business meetings and just to socialize and meet people. The same rules should apply to this bar and restaurant as apply to every other similar establishment.
