PETITION FOR RESIDENTS OF OLIVE ONLYThe undersigned residents of the Town of Olive in Ulster County, New York, acting in our capacity as residents of this community with an inalienable right to local self-governance, hereby petition the members of the Board of the Town of Olive, who are sworn to protect the health, safety and welfare of this community, to adopt the “Town of Olive’s Community Bill of Rights Protection from Shale Gas and Oil Extraction Ordinance,” which the People of the Town of Olive submit to the members of their Board.
