After a fifteen year struggle, the Coalition of Immokalee Workers Campaign for Fair Food has begun to end slavery, grinding poverty, and brutal exploitation of Florida migrant farmworkers. Through their groundbreaking Fair Food Agreement, signed by nine major tomato buyers and growers, the CIW has raised wages for the first time in thirty years and put in place a Code of Conduct protecting workers from abuse.
