I started this because I felt like something was fundamentally wrong with how things were handled. Reading through the comments has shown me that so many people feel this same frustration. Thank you for helping me realize that I am not the only one looking for accountability here.

I am honestly stunned by how many of you feel the same way about this leadership issue. This momentum is entirely due to your passion for the university and I am just humbled to be a small part of it.

It is unfathomable that Drake is the best tOSU can do for its leadership. This is more than Meyer or Jon Waters, who indeed were railroaded as sacrificial lambs by Drake. This is about having a leader of its state's premier university that can relate to and appreciate the people and local culture that tOSU serves. Drake is a hopeless incompetent from CA. He needs to go and go now. I won't send another penny to tOSU until that clown is gone. The Board of Trustees are wimps for not fixing this...without any further delay.
Dr Drake is an absolute disgrace. He has never been a fit for Ohio State. He has caused so much harm to my beloved Ohio State and some of its finest employees. I have not given a cent to Ohio State since Jon Waters was so unjustly fired. And I will not until he is GONE! The Trustees need to step up to the plate and fire him ASAP! Then escort the weakling out, box up his belongings, and ship them to him COD!
This was was not a good fit from the beginning. Dr Drake does not share the midwest values of the Big Ten Conference, and most importantly, of The Ohio State University
anytime someone caves to the media in lieu of the truth, they erode good society. Drake is not interested in truth, he’s interested in saving face against a biased media looking for ratings. Fire him!
If he is going to shift the blame to Urban to get out of being the one that didnt do anything about it ? Especially, . when Urban told him years ago . Then Drake should be fired for not doing his job .When it was announced back then to him and he just swept it under the rug . So, that way he can blame somebody else for his mistakes .
Not good for my alma mater. Get him out!
He is an embarrassment to a great University. Get him out of Ohio.

Drake's tenure has not been a disgrace with regards to sports only. A large number of doctors/researchers have left the University for a better working climate. He has managed to turn what should be a non-political office into one that is. He is leading the way with Campus Partners to attempt to control every aspect of students living on/near campus- what stores are acceptable to shop at , eat at, etc. He is incapable of being a positive ambassador for the University. He needs to be replaced.
