I go to Forest Preserve of Cook County Schiller Playfield area with my dog very often. Recently there are more coyotes there, that are very used to people and not afraid of dogs. Few weeks ago I was chased and followed by one coyote, even though my dog was on a leash. I want to start petition to Cook County Forest Preserve to create a off-leash dog park at the south-east part of this area. It is mostly used by dog owners, walking their dogs there, and it would be great to have fun with your dog, without looking out for coyotes all the time. It does not need to be big, one fourth of this area will be enough, at the corner of W Berteau Ave and N Thatcher Ave, south of Schiller Brook.
