im spending my evenings going through all the concerns you guys are leaving in the comments and it is clear we are all worried about the impact on our area. ive been reaching out to the council to make sure they know exactly how people feel about this substation expansion. i will let you know as soon as i get a real answer back from them.

i cant believe how much momentum this has picked up lately. seeing the neighborhood come together like this means the world to me and shows we wont be ignored.

Better use of existing structures and efficiences are required rather than an extension with a resulting rash of gigantic pylons.

We have more than our fair share of pylons and a substation, put the rest where they're needed.

I object to the manner in which eirgrid/ cork county council steamroll the opinion of communities affected by there upsizing of the electricity infrastructure. There are alternatives, these options are in practice through Scandinavia , where communities are at the centre of infrastructure solutions

I wish to lodge my objection to this proposed extension of the Knockraha substation. The size and close proximity to the village poses serious consequences to the current and future residents of the area.

I vehemently object to the extension of the Knockraha substation. This proposed extension will overwhelm and ruin the character of the village due to the scale of the proposal. I have also very serious concerns about the infrstructure, road access, landscaping and noise disturbance. Our voice have to be heard regarding this objection.

A substation of this size with its close proximity a young expanding satilite village of the city poses a health risk far beyond the visual size of the structure.

Would strongly question the motivation for extending the station in the first place. Our landscape needs to be more valued!
