The original Highlander is classy and has Legacy. Please see the original and the new one side by side. Majority of the Branding Committee are not Alumni and have no loyalty to this district. Please sign and share to Big Mac Alumni. Public did not get the opportunity to see the new logo until vote, weren't invited to meetings for community input. Please voice your discus by signing our petition. No Transparency on this decision,,,,,Sneaky and sly. Object to the change!

The response to this has been overwhelming and it proves how much this community values our true history. It is exhausting to fight against such secrecy but seeing everyone rally around our original logo gives me the strength to keep pushing.

Our teachers were told that the budget was tight and that they were not going to get a lot of the school supplies they ordered! But now we have enough money to waste on this garbage.
This just doesn’t seem right!! I’m so proud of my alma maters logo and when you say or think Canon Mac that’s what you picture!!! It amazes me that this decision is being made by people who are not even Canon Mac alum!!! Where’s are vote are opinion!!!
As an alumnae, this isn’t a good use of funds nor should it be a priority for the district. This is an embarrassing decision without a solid line of support for reasoning or costs.
My brother and sister in law were in first graduating class at the new high school. The logo is classic. My husband and I graduated in 1967. This new logo is an embarrassment.
There’s no need to spend money to update a logo (which means new branding on all uniforms and school buildings), when taxes are increasing to fund IMPORTANT items. Make better choices, CM.
Canon Mc Millan has always had more class than this.

Why does our district want to have something that is menacing looking. Especially during our current climate. The previous logo has history in the positive representation of our district. I find it inappropriate. And a waste of money.
