The bylaws of the New York Thoroughbred Horsemen’s Association were last revised in 1990. In order to maintain compliance with New York’s not-for-profit law, the Association is in the process of adopting amended bylaws. To continue this process, the Association requires the affirmation by petition of not less than 75 of its members.
In order to sign the petition, you must be currently licensed as a Thoroughbred owner or trainer by the NYS Gaming Commission, and be a member in good standing of the NYTHA.
We, the undersigned, approve of the plan of the New York Thoroughbred Horsemen’s Association to amend its current bylaws to maintain compliance with New York not-for-profit law.
