Amendment Scope
- All Sweet Gum, Hackberry, and Bradford Pear trees are to be considered nuisance trees and do not require ARC approval for removal regardless of the size or location. If the tree to be removed is not within 15ft of another tree, a new (Ecologically Appropriate) tree shall be planted in its place.
Effective immediately upon ratification

I have been hearing from so many of you about the constant maintenance struggles these trees cause in our yards. It honestly overwhelms me to see how many people share this frustration because I truly thought I was alone in this. I am now reaching out to the board to present our collective concerns.

Yes! These trees are invasive and ugly. Glad we can finally take them down without jumping through hoops.
Good riddance to the bradford pears. Tired of them dropping limbs on my roof every time it rains
Please let us get rid of these. The roots are destroying my sidewalk and the city wont do anything about it.
Finally!! Sweet gums are a nightmare for anyone trying to walk in their own yard. My kids are always stepping on those spiky balls.
HATE hackberry trees. they drop berries everywhere and make a huge mess on my driveway.
I agree to plant but do not want to plant trash or nuisance trees.

Those pear trees are the worst. They smell like garbage every spring and the branches break in every wind storm. Get them out.
