I oppose Philadelphia City Council Bills #060901 and #060902 because (a) they allow large developers to bypass the Zoning Board for projects that may harm my community; (b) they virtually eliminate my due process rights to contest those projects; and (c) my consent was never sought by my Councilperson. I support comprehensive zoning reform that will place the will of every community ahead of the profit motive of developers and pay-to-play politics. I call upon my district Councilperson to follow the recommendation of the Planning Commission and table these bills until every community in Philadelphia meets with their respective district Councilperson to learn about the bills and have their opinions about them incorporated fully.

Developers are pushing to strip our zoning rights while we are left chasing answers from City Council. Call your district representative today and demand they table these bills immediately. Send this link to three friends who live in your neighborhood so they know what is at stake.

We hit our stride and the pressure is building on City Council to stop these backroom deals. Post a link to this petition on your Facebook timeline and email your Councilperson right now to demand they table these bills.

Fix this mess. Councilperson needs to step up and represent the voters for once.

City council needs to listen to residents instead of just catering to big money. table these bills already.

RIDICULOUS. We deserve a say in what gets built down the street. stop ignoring the people who actually live here!
