I am currently gathering data on the city's unpaid tax backlog to present to the council. Spend ten minutes today looking up the email address for your specific city council member and send them a message demanding they oppose these new fees.

I'm totally against this, I will definitely have to drive out of my way to avoid paying this ridiculous tax. This not going to work.
Ludicrous ..Mr. Kenney. We are strapped enough. On social security and need financial assist from my children. Make all schools CHARTER. Public school's just not warranting a fine education. Better to tax alcohol and cigarettes. I am in the far Northeast. We see you cater to inner city for all sorts of things. No benefits here.

I won't buy Any Sugary Drinks in Philly or just go out of the city and buy..Philly will lose BIG TIME with this tax
Ridiculous tax where is the cigarette tax money going

I can't wait for the soda tax. I already have a plan set up on making money for myself. So yes believe me it will cost the city more in taxes even to the point of losing on the regular sales. As a resident I will just go to the nearest Walmart outside the city and buy everything I need for the week cigs,,soda,candy,etc. Lost of all type of tax revenue. So Philly will lose. Watch out Mr. Softy and Bryers you will be next for a sugar tax.
