There is definitely a line between a cute outfit and being inappropriate, but there is also a line between appropriately enforcing the rules and infracting on someone's right to an education. As long as the girls wearing leggings can not be seen through and all undergarments are properly covered there is no reason for girls to be singled out and pulled from class so that men can receive a "distraction free" environment. A man's education is no more important than a woman's and creating rules that target women and over- enforcing those rules is sexism and not appropriate in any environment. Therefore, solid leggings (leggings that cannot be seen through) should be allowed back into the school and lightly monitored to make sure they do not show the garment worn underneath them.

Girls should be proud of their bodies and not be afraid of showing them off. Boys need to be mature and not only look at girls for their bodies

We should be able to have stress free morning and not have to worry if our clothing is distracting to others. Leggings are comfortable and very similar to regular jeans.

We should be able to wear leggings, yoga pants and running shorts. i mean regardless of what us females wear boys are gonna stare. what we wear is for our comfort not for other people.

Why should we be told what to wear when we're required to sit in school for 8 hours? I want to be comfortable when I'm forced to be at school, and the dress code tells girls that a boy's education is more important than hers.

Administrators should have more to worry about than sending girls to ISS for legging, some jeans are as tight or tighter than leggings.

Girls should not be sent to iss for the whole day and be punished because their parents have work and cant come to school. Its not fair to us or the parents. Parents can't just leave work because girls are in shorts or leggings and they are a distraction even though we are sitting down. The only time we are up is when we change classes. But no we are still a distraction while sitting down. Im sorry but to me that ridiculous. Yes i think we should have at least your butt be covered because some leggings can become see through at the butt but this thing with it has to be able to wear the shirt with out pants on and it still be in dress code is ridiculous. Why would you wear leggings and a shirt that is long enough you can wear it with out them its just plain stupid. Guys are going to stair no matter what us girls where. Thats just what high school boys are going to do. Its hormones its normal!

Its not our problem some girls have nice bodies and it distracts boys who cares. we have to sit for 8 hours in jeans and if we do get to wear something comfortable they are turning the girls dress code into a boys all day clothing wear.
