Northwest Park: A New Vision for Green Space, Dog Park and Playing Fields or Driving Range Revival?

Baltimore City Recreation and Parks (BCRP) is developing a plan to re-open the driving range at Northwest Park located at 2101 W. Rogers Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland.
The plan to re-open the driving range conflicts with current and future uses of the space that include a dog park, multipurpose playing fields, walkways, picnic areas, and naturalized areas for community use and enjoyment.
Friends and supporters of Northwest Park petition Baltimore City and BCRP to engage with Friends of Northwest Park and the community of park users to develop a comprehensive plan that maximizes the uses of the space for multiple activities and reflects community preferences.

Driving range is a total waste of space. Nobody wants golf balls flying everywhere in a neighborhood park.
We dont need another driving range. My kids need a place to play soccer and run around. Keep the green space open for local families.
Put the fields back in. The current plan is honestly just shortsighted and bad for the area.
Its nice having a quiet place to walk. Dont ruin it.
LISTEN TO THE COMMUNITY. We want a park for people not a business for golfers.

My dog loves that park. Seriously leave it alone. Its the only decent spot in the neighborhood for us to go on the weekends.
