I have been hearing from so many of you about how this lack of choice is creating unnecessary anxiety during our final clinical rotations. I am preparing a formal request for the department heads to explain why this shift occurred and why our professional preferences should carry more weight.

Seeing this grow has been overwhelming because I know exactly how much this internship choice impacts our future careers. Your support confirms that we deserve a say in where we spend those critical final weeks of training.

23 weeks is a long time to spend in a ward you have zero interest in. This needs fixing asap.
so annoyed by this news. please let us choose our locations.
its so unfair that they changed the rules halfway through our degree. we spend enough time working for free and the least they can do is let us pick where we go.
THIS IS RIDICULOUS. We are practically working as staff nurses so we should have a say where we are placed. get it sorted.
Total rubbish. I was told when I started I could choose. Why change it now?

I really need a placement that matches what I want to do after graduation. not getting a choice is just setting us up to fail.
