Recently, the Fort Worth City city staff proposed the demolition one of Fort Worth's oldest public library--the North Side Branch. We ask that you show your support to preserve our city's history by signing the petition. By standing up, you've provided educational resources to children and residences of the North Side. Because education should never be on the city's expendables, we ask that you extend your compassion and political capabilites by signing!
I spent the morning walking through the stacks at the North Side branch and thinking about how many stories are held within these walls. The city staff might see a building in need of repair but I see the heart of our community that deserves to remain exactly where it is.

Seeing this momentum grow has meant everything to me because I spent my own childhood afternoons hiding in the aisles of that library. Knowing so many of you value this history just as much as I do proves we can protect this space for the next generation.

The city has enough new buildings. Keep the old ones instead of wasting money on wrecking balls.

This place helped me pass my history classes when I was a kid. You cant just knock down history for a parking lot. Leave it be.
