Yes, Ernie, I want to join in the movement to stop the establishment of a new waste facility in Lewiston as proposed by the Quasar Energy Group of Ohio. Lewiston does not need any more of these facilities. Enough is enough!
The quiet from the local planning office is telling because it suggests they expect us to lose interest. We are using this time to gather technical reports that challenge their claims about the environmental impact. Your continued attention proves that our community remains observant and prepared.

The momentum surrounding our efforts reflects a clear consensus that our community has reached its capacity for industrial waste. This collective response confirms that the people of Lewiston are ready to protect the local landscape from further development.

Our homes, and our children's future, should not be compromised by, let's face it, the desire to get rich today. Stop allowing this dirty secret to convince our leaders to allow trash into our community.

I live in this area and DONT want it here! Why not put it in Ohio where it came from. I already have a big trash mountain to look at. No more waste here.

I have been complaining for the last 10 years of clay pits being dug under the disguise of "Farm Ponds" "Recreational Ponds" etc and only done to mine clay needed for the local landfills! After these ponds are dug then they can be used for anything like what This Lagoon? On top of that is the Large Commercial Vehicles that are allowed to speed through the area with no worry about being stopped by the Lewiston Police! On Rte 429 they average 6 Large Commercial Trucks every 30 Minutes! No one has any idea if these trucks are in safe condition or are being operated by a qualified driver? Are these trucks loaded in the proper weight load? These pond mines have no scales so how does anyone know if thier overloaded? These drivers get paid by the load at what weight they are carrying?
Lewiston Needs a Police officer not afraid to stop a large truck!
