Accepting ASH from the Onondaga County incinerator in return for our TRASH will be an economic and environmental mistake for Cortland County.

The emails I get from the county offices remain dismissive but I am continuing to push for a direct meeting regarding the incinerator ash. It is draining to keep pressing against this wall of silence while we wait for any sign of acknowledgment. I will keep digging for the truth about these terms because our community deserves to know the cost.

Legislators -you are abdicating responsibility for the future and taking the short term, easy way out.

This sounds like a terrible idea! I live in Cortland and I am scared of the risks. I am adamantly opposed to an Ash Dump!

The situation has not been objectively and scientifically researched. The fact that no Health Impact Assessment has been completed is a huge concern.
