We the undersigned believe proposals to create a chauffeured taxi service for the Chair (Brian Coleman) and Deputy Chair (Sally Hamwee)of the London Assembly are bad for the environment and bad for London. Wherever possible Assembly members should use the free travel passes they receive rather than using public money to subsidise an unecessary chauffeur service. We call on all Assembly members to reject the proposal for a chauffeured taxi service when it is discussed at a meeting of the London Assembly on the 14th March.
