Please join your fellow Fair Haven residents in advising the Recreation Committee and Town Council that The Youth Center Park is clearly an inappropriate location for night time activity. Lights should not be considered at Youth Center Park because of the following reasons: inadequate parking, proximity to numerous homes, lack of restroom facilities and lack of paved access to court areas. If residents favor lighting for recreational use, it should only be installed where there is adequate and lighted parking for night time crowds, a reasonable buffer from neighboring homes and restroom facilities. Please help our decision makers understand that we believe that if lighting is to be considered, it should be done right. Youth Center Park should not be considered.
