We the undersigned strongly oppose the plan to open a 100 hour pharmacy at Warders Medical Centre on East Street in Tonbridge. The Proposal 1) will cause more congestion, traffic chaos and illegal parking 2) will increase noise, nuisance and litter 3) is neither necessary nor desirable, as existing pharmacies are within a few minutes' walk, on the High Street 4) endanger existing pharmacies leading to yet more empty premises on the High Street 5) is wholly unsuitable for a quiet residential area 6) will seriously degrade the character of the conservation area. We do not want or need a Pharmacy on East Street open seven days a week, from early morning until late evening. We urge Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council to reject the proposal outright.
