I live in the meadows and have 2 young boys who play right where the road is supposed to connect. To even contemplate a through road is ludicrous and dangerous

This would be awful, just a shortcut for those not prepared to sit the short time in traffic and will put young children at risk!

I would be very concerned that the numerous Heavy goods vehicles currently using the Barnish Rd would use a through road here as shortcut to/from the motorway.. It would definitely present an serious danger to the many young children playing around this area.

Speed of the traffic already going down to castle avenue into castle manor is crazy No need for this whatsoever especially with is many children around these houses

Due to traffic build up on main road... opening up a through road through the estates would very quickly become a main road.... this will definitely increase the risk to our children playing in this area.... open a cycle/ walkway between the estates but not a road... our kids safety needs protecting....

My young nephews and niece live in this area. They, along with their friends play in front of their house. A through road would create alot more traffic therefor would most definitely raise the potential risk of them or other children getting seriously hurt or worse.

I do not want this to happen as it's where children play, so it will disturb the area where these children socialise and make it unsafe for them
