Uniform does not affect the way we learn. Spending time and money on revision guides, stationary and revision is far more important than spending money on new clothes to fit with the policy and time choosing an outfit that we feel uncomfortable in and don't want to wear when we could be revising or studying. Will we be punished for not fitting the policy? Yes? What will that punishment be isolation? Exclusion? More things that take us away from our education unnecessarily.

The school administration keeps ignoring the fact that forcing us into these uniforms is a direct distraction from our actual studies. I am currently drafting a formal letter to demand they explain why they value control over our academic success. Do not let them silence us while they prioritize policing our clothes instead of our education.

I'm very glad to have made the decision to leave St. Paul's and not be returning to the sixth form-I have seen too many examples of everyone being treated like children, not young adults. This is yet another example, this is another reason that people will be put off applying here! Maybe the teachers should try listening to the pupils instead of introducing constant new ideas that no one actually approves of. So much for a 'family' community!

so now he have to pay for another wardrobe of clothes and this doesn't change the fact that we have to decide what to wear in the mornings because we have to buy multiple jackets and trousers because unlike uniform people can tell if you have worn the same jacket or shirt twice. i think i speak for the majority when i say that we have more casual clothes than suit-esc clothes

It impics the stereo type that all important jobs are those of which h have to ware a suit. What if you work for google or any job in coding or doctors. They don't ware suits .

I'm a student from another school and was considering St. Paul's sixth form but have been majorly put off due to the uniform policy.

Students have the rest of their lives to wear smart clothes. In Sixth form it is good change to wearing school uniform, it makes them feel more independent as they reach the end of their school life. Clothes does not affect our learning, but with the way the new policy is going, it will.

Time for work and freedom of expression should matter much more than looking 'professional'. I know that not only me, but many of my friends were looking forward to 6th form almost on the basis of finally wearing something comfortable whilst working, and taking that away would just be unfair.

Hate the way St. Paul's wants to treat us like private school students by making us wear suits for college
