I'm very glad to have made the decision to leave St. Paul's and not be returning to the sixth form-I have seen too many examples of everyone being treated like children, not young adults. This is yet another example, this is another reason that people will be put off applying here! Maybe the teachers should try listening to the pupils instead of introducing constant new ideas that no one actually approves of. So much for a 'family' community!

Enough money is spent on clothes as it stands. Formal wear, being far more expensive, will only further highlight those with less to spend. Is there an implication that the amazing achievements of prior students have been impeded by a lack of uniform? That without it they didn't have the 'discipline' or 'sense of community' to achieve? They would have achieved far greater things than getting into top universities and apprentiships if only they had had a uniform?

So much for making us feel more independent and unique. More like continuing to make us be little robots under the schools control. I'm not in year 11. I'm in college and I should be able to dress how I want to.

When teachers think of non uniform they think of Chavs wearing trackies and jumpers with backwards caps, when the students at St. Paul's think of non uniform they think of a chance to express themselves, a chance to get out of the monotonous, repetitive rhythm of wearing a school uniform, when we walk down the corridors, it's like the focus of an education is put aside for an untucked shirt or the top button undone, the reason the students do these things is to feel comfortable in a learning environment, not everyone is comfortable with the uniform, which puts them off work, that's all I have to say

so now he have to pay for another wardrobe of clothes and this doesn't change the fact that we have to decide what to wear in the mornings because we have to buy multiple jackets and trousers because unlike uniform people can tell if you have worn the same jacket or shirt twice. i think i speak for the majority when i say that we have more casual clothes than suit-esc clothes

How are We meant to be unique if we have to wear 'office wear' I don't want to wear another uniform . When your in sixth form you are meant to be treated like younge adults meaning we should have the freedom in what we wear.

Stupid waste of time and money. People complain about under funded schools and I say how about you focus on the education side of education. I believe there should be some restrictions in place, as i have seen some daft emo kids wearing top hats in sixth form. Sure no emos or hats but jeans? Please m'lord jeans!
