I live in a hill town in the western part of the state. I have to travel 60+ miles for work, groceries and health care. This tax will but a burden on us folks out here. Please do not put a gas tax on us.
No New Taxes. No TCI! As a disabled veteran, I cannot sustain financial viability as it is due to my limited income. Many others in the Commonwealth are as bad off as I am or worse.
We pay gas taxes now, take those funds out of the general fund and put back the money back into all the states infrastructures and not just in the Greater Boston area. Western Mass. needs road work too.
As a daily commuter & being in the transport industry, this gas tax hike will have a ripple effect through out the state. Meaning cost of all goods will increase. Stop the greed now !!
They want to give a portion to the mbta , a sign painter for the mbta makes $ 75000, plus full medical and full pension after 20 years of work. The state doesn’t have a revenue problem, it has a spending problem.

All this tax does is hurt the little guy. While Politians dont worry about gas price's because they get reimbursed with a tax free stipend. Oh that is so fair. But we will remember who voted yes
