Pt Chevalier currently has five liquour outlets and we don't need another one. There's enough anti-social behaviour and adding more opportunities to purchase alcohol will likely just make it worse. Don't approve a liquor licence for Pinku & Associates.

As a resident who lives in Westmere (next to pPoint Chev) I completely agree this will be detrimental for the community. Question being : Why in this day and age when addiction is such a problem is it even being considered? And how on any level will it enhance this neighbourhood ?
Just last week I witnessed a woman being assaulted outside liquor outlet in Pt Chev by intoxicated male....Please no more are needed!
Point Chevalier already has too many liquor stores and adding another one into the area will just increase the amount of drink drivers, homeless, addicts and more into the area. It will encourage people to buy and consume alcohol more often. This is the last thing we as a community need.
Point Chevalier is already well catered for when it comes to buying alcohol. This area needs a greater variety of retailers, not more of the same. We have a lot of schools in close proximity and what message will yet another outlet send to our most impressionable?
The area is already well enough serviced by existing liquor stores. It is far too close to the nearby CADS (Community Alcohol & Drug Services) Abstinence Programme on Carrington Road - let's show more support for those people in the program by keeping temptation at a minimum.
Its bad to have 5 alcohol stores especially near a busy road where workers drive pass n students walk by. Its too dangerous for the children
No, enough liquor stores in the community already. Rather add more hospitality outlets for Waterview and Pt Chev to enjoy.

We have more than enough bottle shops and need so many other home and living or deli cafe style that are family oriented to suit our community!!
