Final supporters
It's not only gardeners who use the Community Garden. Many residents enjoy the park-like space between the Main Library and the Community Garden because it's a small quiet park. It won't be with a road passing through it.
Most importantly, the Connector Road will put our children in danger - because it would be used only occasionally, during events when the Art Center parking lot fills up. Children who frequently play in the space between the Main Library and Community Garden will be put at risk by motorists arriving late to an event and rushing to find a parking space.
Attend the Palo Alto City Council meeting on January 9, 2012 and tell the council not to approve constructing the Connector Road.
Protect our pedestrian-only spaces! Protect our children! No Connector Road!

Seeing this grow has been overwhelming while the city continues to ignore our concerns. It is exhausting work to keep fighting for this space but knowing so many neighbors feel the same way keeps me going.

My kids play here every single weekend. Why would you want to put a road right through where they run around? This is a terrible idea.
Waste of tax money. Plus it ruins the garden. Just leave it alone.

PA has way too much traffic already. We dont need to destroy one of the few quiet spots left in the city just for extra parking. STOP PAVING EVERYTHING
