Dear Members of The Blacksburg Town Council:
The undersigned do oppose the proposed rezoning on Grissom Lane on the grounds that it is a clear violation of the current Blacksburg Comprehensive Plan, where the comprehensive plan only allows single family detached homes at a maximum density of four housing units per acre on separate lots and the rezoning request is for multifamily housing exceeding the four units per acre and all on one lot. We ask that you uphold the provisions in the current Blacksburg Comprehensive Plan and reject this rezoning.
This area is already way too crowded with all the new construction. We dont need more multifamily units squeezed onto one lot. Keep the current zoning density or the traffic will be a disaster.
