As you know, there is a proposed go kart track at the address of 8700 W Chaparral Rd. Eagle, Idaho. Help us protect our neighborhood. Go karts will ruin our quiet country living, could lower our property values, bring commercial traffic to our quiet road, and ruin our neighborhood. We did not choose to live in the country to hear go-kart racing. Please help us protect our country living lifestyle by signing this petition

The quiet of Chaparral Road is worth fighting for even when the process feels slow and exhausting. I am spending my evenings reading your messages about why this neighborhood matters and it keeps me going despite the silence from the planning office.

Reaching this level of support honestly leaves me feeling exhausted but strangely encouraged. It is clear that the quiet of our neighborhood is worth fighting for even when the process feels endless.

Plenty of open land around. Find a place that won't disturb the peace and quite of the locals. Isn't there a race way around there just up the road? That'd be a great spot.
There are plenty of race tracks around and plenty of land further away from homes that they could build something like this.
I understand people have dreams & this family has a dream for a successful and fun business, however, this type of business being loud, disruptive and that it will bring additional unwanted traffic to a neighborhood is selfish. A Go-Cart track has no place near family homes.
Can you imagine the noise these people will have to live with ALL the time? No way! A business such as go carts should be in a city where noise land traffic won't be an issue. Those poor home owners!
There are recreational tracks in Boise and Meridian and a Karter track north of Star, none of which are in residential areas
I am against it
The proposed location is "plenty of open land..." Nevermind the nationally sanctioned NHRA facility just up the road that's been there 50+ years, and holds events multiple times a week long into the evening hours with vehicles much louder than a go-kart.

Just to clarify, this is not the Chaparral Rd. that runs behind the firebird speedway.
