We think the town of Castle Rock is going too far, and is too extreme with their development. The corner of Plum Creek and Lake Gulch is NOT the place for a large gas station and strip mall! It's residential and agricultural, and bringing in commercial developers will permanently change the feel of our neighborhood for the worse.

Updates

August 29, 2018

The town council thinks they can push this strip mall through while we look the other way. This surge of support proves they are dead wrong and we are ready to fight them on every acre.

This area is agriculture, few residents. No need for commercial development here.

As a resident of lake gulch, I would be heartbroken to see this go in here. Let us all have the last little bit of our piece and quiet. Thats why we all live out here in the first place.

We definitely don’t want or need all that development. The reason many of us moved to Castle Rock was for the open spaces and seeing livestock, not more and more development in these spaces.

There are so many reasons not to put one there. Not only do we have 4 within a 5 minute drive, but it will take away from the beautiful "country road feel" that Lake Gulch has. Nothing about this plan makes sense

Traffic is bad enough. I love the open spaces, that we're losing to development. Keep the open space, there is plenty of development elsewhere.

Weve attended the initial meeting about this. ALL the neighbors who attended were against this commercial development!! Is the town Planning Comission listening at ALL???

I think it should go somewhere else, that land is beautiful

Please reconsider this proposal. Not a good idea at all. We do not need a gas station here. There are plenty of them in town .
