FOR SECURITY REASON THIS PETITION CAN ONLY BE VIEWED BY THE WEB SITE ADMIN YOUR DETAILS WILL NOT APPEAR ONLINE STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL Sirs, on 23rd November 2005 a second reading of the Northern Ireland (Offences) Bill was passed through the House of Commons. Despite the obvious discomfort of those ministers that spoke backing the bill and the very united opposition in the house the government seem determined to have this morally repugnant bill passed through parliament. The way that this bill is being pushed through with very little media coverage and the manner in which it would appear to give in to the demands of those that have perpetrated terrorism are both matters of concern in the conduct of this government. Questioning it\'s conviction in the fight against terrorism. Showing a total disregard for the victims and families of those that have suffered at the hands of terrorists. The bill also does draw alarming parallels between terrorists and H.M.Forces deployed to fight terrorism by H.M.Government. We the undersigned petition our total opposition to this morally illogical and offensive bill :

The momentum behind this petition proves that people have finally had enough of the government trying to sweep this betrayal under the rug. Ministers think they can sneak this repulsive legislation through quietly but we are making it impossible for them to ignore the victims.
