This petition goal is to Remove the Encampment disrupting our Neighborhood.
Since 1st September, an illegal encampment has taken over a public space in our neighbourhood, claiming to be a permanent presence.
While we strongly support the freedom of speech, and the right to protest, this encampment is located in a residential area, and their ongoing activity and presence severely disrupt the peace and tranquillity we cherish.
They are not only occupying public property unlawfully, but also creating excessive noise, both day and night. They constantly encourage drivers to honk in support of their cause, leading to constant disturbances in our area.
Despite numerous complaints, the police have not yet taken action to address the situation. Therefore, we are calling on our fellow residents to come together and sign this petition so we can bring back peace to our neighbourhood.
We would like to clarify that we are not against any group, and we stand for love, kindness, pluralism, and the right to peaceful protest. However, the current situation is not peaceful or respectful to the residents who live here. This is a residential area, and we deserve the right to enjoy our homes in tranquillity.

The police are still ignoring us and the noise from this encampment keeps getting worse. We need to hit two hundred and fifty signatures right now to prove that our neighborhood refuses to be silent any longer. One hundred people have signed and the local council still refuses to acknowledge the noise pollution destroying our lives. This encampment continues to hold our neighborhood hostage while the authorities look the other way. We are just getting started and they will hear us.

My child should not be kept awake night after night by horns, nor should she be looking out of her window every morning to a sign saying ‘stop the genocide’. This is her home!
I fully support this petition - the destruction of the planting in this area is criminal damage and will have lasting negative effects on our community.
The camp should be closed at once . Now that the shooting war in Lebanon is beginning there is a risk this camp will attract violence and damage to Riverside Court / it's residents
As a resident of Riverside Court I am very concerned about health and safety issues from the unauthorised encampment. Some protesters are shouting frightening children and elderly people.
The right to protest is fine, but a permanent encampment is not and should be removed. It does not feel a ‘safe’ place to walk past and is an eyesore along the Thames path.
Bunch of scruffs. The place stinks.
I live locally and am fed up with this illegal encampment that disturbs the peace, is noisy, smelly and dangerous. The local authorities must remove it asap.

I wanted to add that they are quite loud during the day, except for the cars honking all the time they shout their slogans and if your windows are facing that way its constantly in your ear. They also make food and live there which makes the area dirty and unsanitary.
