HI! I am currently a student at RRHS. I wrote this letter (attached below) to help implement athletic shorts that show the upper thigh (a.k.a girls Nike running shorts) into the RRISD Dress Code. I was just checking the page and I am honestly shocked at how many people are jumping on board with this whole shorts idea because I honestly thought it would just be my friends and maybe a few other people from class. It feels like things are actually moving now and my hands were shaking a little bit when I hit refresh because I really did not think this would gain this much steam so fast.

THEY ARE LITERALLY JUST SHORTS GOSH
I would like to see the day where I can walk through the hallways freely in my Nike shorts instead of semi spiriting dodging all the teachers
I think that it's so stupid we can't wear shorts because all we want is to be comfy jeeze
I feel like people can pick what ever they want to where
