I am the bereaved mother of 18 year old Leshawn, who was hit by a car in Negril, and she later died. I believe if there was a hospital in Negril, Leshawn's life might have been saved.

I am in full support of the development of the Negril International Hospital-Wellness Center to be built in Negril. The hospital will be a 24 hour emergency-based hospital service, providing specialized and acute healthcare with an expansive practice of emergency, clinical, surgical services, including a full-scale emergency room, several operating rooms, a cardiology lab, radiology, pediatric ward and more.
I believe that the hospital will serve the community, launching a significant impact on the Island of Jamaica, bringing health & wellness to the community, creating a myriad of medical services, new jobs, opening new entrepreneurial opportunities.
I also believe that the hospital will provide a service of protection and support for the thousands of tourists who visit our beautiful country every year.
I, the undersigned am urging the leaders of Jamaica to act now, insuring the success of this much needed Negril International Hospital.
